Working Well without Burning Out

August Virtual Mindful Writing Lab

Work stress can affect more than your productivity. It can shape your energy, mood, sleep, focus, relationships, and ability to feel present outside of work.

This free 60-minute Virtual Mindful Writing Lab offers a supportive space to pause, reflect, and explore what a more sustainable work-life rhythm could look like for you.

Through gentle grounding, brief education, and guided writing prompts, we will reflect on how work-related stress shows up in the body, thoughts, emotions, and daily habits. You will also explore energy drains, personal expectations, recovery needs, and one small step you can take to support yourself moving forward.

This is not about doing more, pushing harder, or creating a perfect work-life balance. It is about noticing what your mind and body may already be communicating and giving yourself space to respond with more care.

During this free virtual lab, you will explore:

-Early signs of work-related stress and overwhelm

-How ongoing pressure can affect your energy and nervous system

-Energy costs, energy leaks, and sources of support

-A simple Pause, Orient, Choose practice for the workday

-Reflective writing prompts for clarity and self-awareness

-One realistic next step toward a more sustainable rhythm

No writing experience is needed. You do not have to share your writing, turn your camera on, or participate in discussion unless you choose to. This space is designed to be gentle, reflective, and accessible.

Participants will receive a digital writing guide to use during the session.

This lab is educational and reflective. It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, or a substitute for support from a licensed professional.
